
Certified veterinary technician Heidi began working at VACC in 2000. In 2006, she was named Patient Care Director and now oversees the nursing care for our surgical and medical patients. Heidi is especially interested in veterinary dentistry.
Along with her professional interests, Heidi enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with her husband, Matt, and her two children, Julia and Colin.
A veterinary technician since 1981, Laurie attended Holiston College in Holiston, Massachusetts and was awarded her associate's degree in animal science in 1978.
A member of the animal health care team at Veterinary Associates of Cape Cod since 2003, Laurie is in charge of our laboratory department and help maintain the high quality of medical care at Veterinary Associates. She is a gifted cytology technician and helps train our staff of technicians.
Laurie's hobbies include gardening, cooking and traveling.
Certified veterinary technician Chris joined Veterinary Associates of Cape Cod in 1995. Prior to working at VACC, Chris received her degree in Zoology from the University of New Hampshire. Chris has a black lab named Yaz and two cats. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Dave, as well as her children, Zack, Maddie, and Maya. They especially enjoy going to the beach and are dedicated Red Sox fans.
A certified veterinary technician, Tracy has been working at VACC since 2006 and received her Bachelor's of Veterinary Science from Mount Ida College. She has a beagle named Aspen and a cat named Daytona.
Kristene first started with Veterinary Associates in 2000 but left to finish her degree at the University of Massachusetts' Dartmouth campus. In the spring of 2007, Kristene rejoined us as a veterinary technician and we are happy to have her back.
Kristene has a wonderful German Shepherd named Gretchen and an adorable cat named Joey. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé and friends. Kristene also fundraises for the American Cancer Society and is a long-time volunteer at the Independence House.
Amy started with Veterinary Associates of Cape Cod in 2007. She has worked as a veterinary technician for the last eight years and has always had many pets. She enjoys establishing a relationship with each pet she works on, as well as working in our laboratory and radiology departments. Amy's personal interests include music, photography and martial arts.
Holly is a native Cape Codder and has lived here all her life. She has worked entirely in the animal care field, working previously at a local kennel and then for eight years at a local animal hospital. Holly began at Veterinary Associates of Cape Cod in 2008. She enjoys spending time with her family, as well as her two Maine Coon cats, Savannah and Rugo. Holly also plays the violin recreationally.
Meghan was born and raised on Cape Cod. She completed the veterinary assistant basics program at Upper Cape Technical School and graduated in 2009, when she became a technician assistant at Veterinary Associates of Cape Cod.
Meghan enjoys pet sitting for friends and family. In her free time, she likes going the beach, shopping and spending time with her friends. Meghan has a black cat named Ozzy and is looking forward to getting a puppy soon!
Jenn relocated from Michigan in 1995. While living on Nantucket, she worked at the MSPCA. Jenn joined Veterinary Associates of Cape Cod in 2009 as a technician assistant. Her hobbies include biking, gardening and spending time with her husband and their four-legged family members, Moxie and Hanzo.
