Giving the Kiss of Life
YARMOUTH - Pet owners gathered at the veterinary hospital at Veterinary Associates of Cape Cod on White's Path in South Yarmouth yesterday to listen to Karen Morelli, Lisa Neftzger, and veterinarian Thomas Burns talk about life saving CPR techniques that could one day save their cat or dog. Neftzger (above) demonstrates the proper procedure on a stuffed cat. For people who are uncomfortable about mouth-to-mouth contact with their animals, a liter plastic bottle with the bottom cut off (below) can be used as an alternative source.
